The "Aluminum Breadboard for High Vacuum (ALP)" is an aluminum breadboard designed for high vacuum applications, utilizing the surface treatment ALpika(R). Aluminum alloy has a low gas release rate from the material itself, making it suitable for high vacuum environments. However, if the surface is rough or if anodizing treatment is applied, it may lead to outgassing that adversely affects high vacuum conditions. This product maintains the inherent characteristics of aluminum alloy while undergoing ALpika(R) treatment, reducing gas release compared to conventional electro-polishing, which is a common treatment for aluminum components used in high vacuum.
